Well, I hope the plan is to give Keon a chance to shine like last year down the stretch, trade him in the off season and start new year with Brinson in CF. It going to be annoying watching him strikeout 75 more times this season

Martinez going for that old lady hair style? Now he has us right where he wants us. With risp.
Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

I'm shocked the Cardinals would allow that. Anyone else on another team and they'd be screaming for the baseball police, saying he's disrespecting the game. I can just see Chris Carpenter wondering how he can explain that to his kids.

Broxton picking up right where he left off.

Oh no... looking at well located pitches is much better than chasing crap way out of the zone.

Pina has earned the right to be the primary catcher on this team. Banty was nice to begin the year and it was a great platoon between the two but Pina is clearly been more consistent. Time to end the platoon.

Chasing has been a problem for Keon. His chase rate is 28%, up six percent from last year.

Bigger problem, though, is that he hasn't made contact on swings in the zone. Zone contact is only 66.8%, down from 75.9% last year. 66.8% is really bad. Miguel Sano, who strikes out a ton as well, is at 74%.
