Now, once again, Kershaw isn't a good pitcher according to hot takes.

A thought about the league trying to speed up the games.

Well Tonight's Game feels like whatever they are doing isn't working.

Did the Dodgers and Astros forget to put their bullpens on the World Series rosters?

They've abused them

Doesn't help that they can't throw a slider thanks to the slippery baseballs...

And, thus, another baseball season comes to a close (wipes small tear out of left eye . . . )

Well, Darvish most likely ruined an entire season for a team he was never fully a part of.

Well he did win his starts in the NLDS and NLCS. Think Roberts will be second guessed the rest of his life for not starting Kershaw?

Well until the Dodgers win the World Series. Which probably won’t take terribly long when you can boost a $200mil payroll. Soon enough it will pan out.

I don’t really get not starting Kershaw though. Why not give yourself the best chance to get a lead, pump up the crowd, and put the pressure on the other team? Instead they stick themselves in a 5-0 hole real quick.

No manager in his right mind is going to start a pitcher on two days rest in a game 7 of the World Series, or in any game for that matter, especially when three days earlier that pitcher couldn't make it out of the fifth. And it's not like Kershaw has historically been unhittable in the post-season. He's like the Brett Favre of baseball: great in the regular season, a liability in the post season. No one could've seen Darvish stink it up a second game in a row. If it was as easy as starting your ace on two days rest, Houston would've started Kuechel or however you spell his name. You can't look back in hindsight and say Roberts should've started Kershaw.

I would of started Alex Wood for 1 to 3 innings and then let the bullpen and Kershaw go to work. Darvish looked off in the first inning and shouldn't have been out there in the 2nd.
