And Bandy should be starting once a week at most.

You know a day game after a night game is going to be the backup catcher. It is in the unwritten book. Put it this way, I am assuming Bandy has three starts this month to see what he can do.

If you play Pina every day, then he gets worn down like last year when Vogt went out for a month plus.

Arcia would've come through there.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

will 1 run be enough today?

:laughing This was great.

4 of the 9 Dbacks in the lineup are below the Mendoza Line... and also have a .208 and one without an average....

This is becoming fairly common in MLB these days. A .250 hitter is now above average.

Might want to think about an early entry for Woodruff today.

Not a huge blunder or anything especially trying to decide in the moment but Saladino should have taken the out at 3rd to get the lead runner knowing he wasn't going to turn 2.

Yes. At least Godley has to stand out in the sun, haha.

Good job from Suter to get out of it.

Whew. Nice job getting out of it. Suter vs. Goldschmidt with 2 runners on made me nervous.

I 100% would have walked Goldschmidt, I don't care that he's hitting 200 or whatever. Good thing they didn't listen to me... :laughing

Suter is just what the DBacks needed! You're welcome guys!

If what they needed was to not score any runs in the 3rd, then you are correct ;)

Ugh I'm sorry.. I just can't get excited... or NOT be negative with the trash he throws up there... it's like when Doug Jones was our CLOSER.... Oh LAAAAWD.
