Can't help it...yes there's a long ways to go, but everyday that goes by without ground being made up, means one less day to make up that ground. I'd really like to see the Brewers at worst be even with the Cubs by the time they meet next week, ideally, they would flip the 2 game lead, but of course the Cubs keep winning in junk ways.

Was sitting on couch talking to a friend, i was telling him that Keston was up in a big spot he needs to come through and not strike out. As much as I have been clammering for that kid to stay, and then get back to the big club, and also my PREACHING he needs to be in the top 3 in the order, he needs to come through in a spot like that.

 

And he did, this kid has been so fun to watch. I actually am a bit more hyped about seeing Keston than Yelich.

Speaking of players that are starting to come around, Travis Shaw is absolutely tearing it up in Triple-A right now. I know we've seen a lot of players not translate Triple-A success to the big leagues, but since Shaw isn't really a prospect or an up-and-comer, it might time to bring him up and drop Saladino back to the minors. At this point I'd rather have Shaw than Saladino.
