2019-08-06: Brewers (Anderson) at Pirates (Brault) [Brewers win, 4-3 -- Anderson with another solid outing; Faria pitches two scoreless in Brewers debut; Albers notches the save]

[sobomp3]

Please please please hold onto this one. Let’s gain one on the cubs. I’m not ready to concede the playoffs

[yourout]

Nice to know the newly-acquired pitchers can also split the plate just like the rest of the staff

[Bulldogboy]

Claudio??

[Bulldogboy]

Where is your lefties Craig??

[Brewcrewin07]

Poor Jon Lester and his fantasy owners.

Seems odd to me that Maddon is leaving his veteran starter in for a baby seal beating.

Well, Kintzler just went on the IL today joining Kimbrel, so they may be a little short(and terrible in the bullpen).

[adambr2]

First impressions on Faria, not overly impressed. A lot more lucky than good. But we'll take 2 scoreless out of this pen these days any way we can get it.

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Well, parts of it weren't pretty, but I'll gladly take two zeros on the board from a reliever right now. Nice work Faria. You can stick around awhile.

[wildcat83]

I just got home and turn on the TV to see two rockets and then the 3rd out hit to Hiura and held my breath on the throw. Talk about stress after 5 minutes of viewing.

[yourout]

Crick is not coming set.

[folly412]

How close are this guy's weird foot taps to getting called a balk?

[jason21nl]

Not a strike

[yourout]

Joe West needs to retire.

[Eye Black]

Wow, really awful strike three call all the way around by Joe West.

[adambr2]

Yeah, you're wrong, Joe West.

[yourout]

He has been balking like crazy and they're not calling it.

[wildcat83]

Not a strike

That’s why Joe West was so low key about the call.

[brooks_quichenick]

Just terrible behind the plate

[TigerUppercut]

Holy cow. Matt Albers for the 9th? Better get at least 2 here.

[yourout]

That was kind of Yelich like.

Should already have 1 in with nobody out after the Grisham double, but, you know, Joe West.

[Guest]

Grisham is really exciting. You can tell just by looking at him that he's got some growing up to do still(physically). This might just be the tip of the iceberg.

[rickh150]

Shoulda mentioned before the double.... but we a pinch runner for Grandal made sense when he was on 1st and still does with him on 3rd. Put Shaw in at 1st for the 9th.

I would rather have Frank Drummond.

[jason21nl]

Makes sense to bat Shaw over Yelich with 2 guys on.....
