We're all still in it because the Brewers are only 2 games out. We won't quit until it's over. And it's not over.

 

This is the problem though...ONLY two games out...but when you think about all the chances the last couple of weeks they have had the chance to get within 1 or heck even take the lead again, is what is so maddening.

 

 

Don't disagree. Just in response to everyone that says "I can't quit/want to quit but can't/ or some variation. THey're still only 2 back so we hang on, because we're gluttons for punishment. Also, just because we hope they can get hot.

I pitched an inning and 2/3 once in little league, didn't quite make it out of the 6th inning before the winning run scored. I'd fit in with this blowpen.

Man the Pirates are just pathetic. Lester gave them nine base runners in 6 underwhelming innings and the Buccos couldn’t scratch across a single run. Then I remembered last night for the Crew. And I got sad.
