I've never seen a team swing and miss so much without the power to go along with it.

Are you speaking in general, because both Yelich and Garcia just had fine at-bats that turned into walks.

Of course. Then again Smoak whiffed looking.

LOL well, that's not swinging and missing either I suppose. It seems like the Brewers are having a really tough time with the larger strike zone this year. Lots of wild swings at pitches outside the zone, and a lot of backwards Ks too.

It’s great to see Braun squaring the ball up so well today. Now hopefully the can capitalize on the leadoff double.

[sarcasm]The bum is so bad he he “whiffed” without taking the bat off his shoulder.[/sarcasm]

I will take nearly anything but an inning ending DP out of this Arica at bat.

Edit: Looks like the wild pitch took care of that possibility.

I really want Urias to eventually be this team's everyday SS, but Arcia continues to play not terrible, which for him is an improvement. Such a weird season.

Seems like he does just enough to not lose his job, or his roster spot.

Speaking of bad hitting mechanics Keston Huira is the last guy you ever want a young hitter emulating.

Till that bat path becomes more yelich like he's going to struggle.

Arcia is so hard to watch at the plate. He still moves his back foot when he swings, I would think that alone is something that could be easily fixed, but it is always the same.

That turned into a nice start for Houser. Good to see him be able to settle in after some early struggles. Put himself in position for a quality start. I get why they went bullpen, but I think Houser was capable of the 6th. He’s been solid this year!

all true, but with this offense, solid isn't good enough.

That CC admonishment really turned him around. I like seeing that side of him.

Who pitches the 8th and 9th for the Brewers? Stick with Suter for another inning or go to either Phelps or Knebel?

I would chose Phelps over Knebel at this point.

Phelps probably the closer today I would guess.

At what point do we start making Chuck Norris references about Suter?

Completely hypothetical, but if Suter doesn't get hurt in August 2018, do the Brewers beat the Dodgers? I'm being serious. Dude is a really good pitcher.
