That should've been a flag on Hicks for pulling on Williams' helmet at the end of that run.

And he took a swing at linsley on the first drive, so that would be an ejection. Maybe the league can suspend him for their playoff game.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

Everyone knew the WR position needed to be addressed going into the draft. MVS didn't all of the sudden start dropping passes this year. Instead we went with the usual "Do something, Aaron" philosophy again.

If the WR position needed to be addressed, how come Rodgers leads the league in TD passes and even if you take away every one of Adams' TDs he would still be 10th in the league in TD passes?

That doesn't sound like a need to me.

I wouldn't go that far. I think we all know that it is a need.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

AMOS with the PICK. He seems to love playing the Bears.

And if this year results in coming up short of a Super Bowl again, how can you say the result is unexpected? Imagine if Bill Walsh had said "Who needs Jerry Rice? We've got Montana."

Is "Call me Kat" the only new show coming out on Fox this year? Good grief, I'm already tired of it from the commercials.

There. is. your. DAGGER!

You are trying to correlate an argument where MVS is the problem for the ENTIRE WR position group and thus the entire offense. Just stop, it's beyond awful.

I used to make jokes about Masked Singer ads during games when that first came out but apparently that show is a big hit. Lowest common denominator TV, I will never get it.

So the Packers have their Rice (Adams). Who did SF draft after Rice? Because that would be a comparable. I believe Taylor was their next WR and he wasn’t a 1st rounder.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Yes! There is your dagger!. Said before play this has to go to Adams. And it did.

Trubisky beyond 7 yards should be 1-3 2 int. Kudos to this defense hanging in there all day not committing personal fouls in a chippy game with all those 1-5yard plays.

So given that the Bears are in the playoffs (AZ losing), we would end up playing them if they can beat NO. Not much chance of that, but...

I'm really not. Would you consider any other receiver on the team a legitimate #2 behind Adams? I certainly wouldn't.

Unfortunately it's lining up for us to be playing Tampa first. The one team I want no part of.

Tonyan is pretty legit. I don't think we have a legit #2 but the TE group is pretty good and Adams is obviously highly elite. MVS and Lazard are complementary guys. I'd agree they don't have a 2 but I can't name too many #2 receivers in Tom Brady's career either.

So the Bears live to see another day and get obliterated in New Orleans. Anyone know the likely day the Packers would play. Saturday vs Sunday?

Looks like Tampa is a likely opponent, but Sea/LAR is an intriguing matchup that could send the Rams to GB too.

Yes, but it will be in Green Bay. What does Brady know about playing in the cold?

"Go ahead. Try to disagree with me. I dare you." Jeffrey Leonard.

Not crazy about that either, but we only need one of Washington (or New York), Rams, or Bears to win to avoid that matchup.

Also at least it won't be at RFK. Should be a different type game here.
