The Packers defense looks like they’re already gassed from the heat while the Saints defense sits with their feet up under fans on the sideline.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Ugly 1st quarter defense. MLBs grade a F thus far.

Over the last 25 years the Packers have had one of the saddest collections of MLBs in the nfl.

I'd hate to make judgments only one quarter into the season but after 10 years of bad defense it may be time to switch philosophy. Run the 4-3, just anything else. How any unit can be this bad for so long is mind boggling.

Guess this is what happens when you don't give your starters any reps in the preseason.

Same as last year. I’m guessing the reshuffled offensive line is a bigger factor here. I expect that to gel with time.

However, I’m more concerned with the defense. If we’re going to have run-stopping problems, we’re going to struggle.

Not ready to play.

Not going to put too much stock in week 1 results - going to take time for a starting roster that basically didn't play at all during preseason to gel. Saints likely played more together in preseason figuring out who was going to be their QB.

Saints are 5 yards downfield all game long, defensive front is getting abused

Make a stop here and then a long td going into half and I'll feel better.
Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

Its amazing how fast a gameclock runs when your defense can't stop the run...

As long as 12 is suiting up, why wouldn’t opposing teams just keep running until we stop it? Unless I can just abuse the heck out of King every time, I wouldn’t want any part of the rest of our secondary. And if I’ve got Kamara? Forget it, I’m running.

Joe Barry was such an awful hire. They had an extremely desirable position and MLF somehow filled it with about the least qualified possible candidate.

I don’t want to make this conclusion yet, but there isn’t any contravening evidence available. Not a good situation.
