Gotta be standing on 2nd with that ball getting away from the catcher.  But nope and then a DP

That sort of play is an example of how you know your team is not committed. In any level of any sport.

Stearns failed providing us with adequate starting pitching depth this year.

How do you figure? The Brewers were consistently rated as a top 3 rotation in all of baseball before opening day.

An elite top three, a promising rookie, two decent back of the rotation guys. How much more did we need?

Losing Peralta and Woodruff for extended periods didn’t help, but they’ve still been strong as a trio.

The offense and bullpen, on the other hand..

Consistently playing down to the level of significantly lesser teams is going to ultimately be our undoing. When we’re getting smacked around by the Pirates and Reds of the world, a major overhaul is needed.

I also don’t get moving Yelich back to the #3 spot. Though he’s been demonstrating a little more power of late, his value comes as a top of the order guy with a high OBP.

Instead, we have McCutchen, who couldn’t hit water falling into a pool, and Adames 1-2, with their .313 and .288 OBP.

I just don’t understand Counsell anymore. I’m so beyond done with him.

I'm talking about back-end depth. Last year we had Anderson, Ashby, etc. as capable fill-ins. This year, Alexander, Small, Gonzales, etc. have killed us in the innings they've pitched in the rotation. Good teams have to be able to have #6/7 starters that can at least keep the ship steady in the event of injury and/or underperformance.

And how is that a hit?  Catch the freakin ball

Just think how lousy averages would be if they called errors like they used to. No way that ball hit to a Mike Schmidt in his day is called a hit.

I dont care what the stats say....this is not a good defensive team.

They may not be terrible but they sure aren't good.

Time to move on! Can’t even get past one of worst teams in baseball. I am sorry but Go Pack! Trade Burns and Woodruff and rebuild this team again! I am 64, and have been watching the same crap since 82 and have seen the Cards at the top over and over again, so tell me what’s wrong there? Go Pack! Very excited for this year! But will always be a Brewers fan, although always disappointed!

Right now it doesn't much matter who the opposing pitcher is the Brewers aren't going to score many runs against them.

Especially if you are a Cy Young candidate,  AKA any left handed starter facing the Brewers this year.
