I don't know why I am even surprised since the NFL pulls this crap all the time but pretty annoying that they spend 5 minutes on Alabama/Texas postgame, anothe 5 minutes of commercials and then we miss the first 2 minutes of our game.

They look horrible and can’t pass block.  This is going to be a long season if the offensive line doesn’t improve pass blocking.

That was a horrible play on 4th down.  Let’s roll out to one side with only one option to throw to.  PC is an absolute idiot when it comes to offensive plays.

That third down was just as bad.  You know we're going to run.  We know you know we're going to run.  So let's lime up in an overwhelmingly run formation and run it straight ahead.  I hate that we are just going to do what we do best no matter what mentality.  The 4th down call was about the only thing worse.

The offense looks better doing a 2-minute drill than any other time.  Why are they not using more of these plays in the regular offense?  Do they know they can run the ball without 2TE’s and a FB?

Too many obvious running plays in the playbook.  They need to start running with 3WR sets and other sets.  It seems like PC won’t even do this.  The offense is also better with more motion but when it is successful they will go away from it for 20+ plays until coming back to it for 1 play.

Mertz has really shown great accuracy on his downfield throws this year and on that last TD made the quick read on the blitz. Things still seem pretty hopeless when he has to scramble out of the pocket but it's not like we have a stacked group of receivers. He got better last year and looks like he is improving again. 

I know all the passes have been contested but would like to see MAllen actually make the great catch on those every now and then.

Didn't watch last week but Mertz certainly played well this first half.

Whoever has the stronger leg needs to be kicking off because they do not cover kicks well and the more they can push through the end zone the better

Back to the predictable play calling to start the half.  I guess we have to wait for the 2-minute drill for the actual plays to be called.
