Reynolds had seven games this past season with >20 points, so I think it's safe to say that he's a lot better than Lindsey or Jordan Davis.

Well shooting the ball 18+ times in a game will usually leading to some higher point totals.

He is probably better than Davis/Lindsey, but that is a pretty low bar to clear.

51 turnovers is pretty darn bad though and only managed a measly 7 steals. His field goal percentage (not great from 3) is nice, but not sure he will have as easy of a time in the Big Ten. Unless they can reduce the turnovers in a major way, I doubt he ends up all that valuable of a player.

I'm with you.  He was an inefficient volume scorer at a mid-major who turned the ball over a lot.  The TOs straight up will not be tolerated at UW which will basically cut his aggressiveness off before it begins (and he was probably too aggressive anyway).  The highlights I've seen are not that impressive.  Pretty sure Davis' highlight reel would look similar if not better.

Whatever Gard did to convince Storr, it was lethally effective as I don't believe he even took any other visits. And it can't simply be the NIL money because if that were his main priority he'd have shopped around more.

Being from the Madison area (Rockford, Ill) certainly didn't hurt. And he had already turned Underwood down once.

Basically a shoe-in for a starting five spot and it is a local school. Probably why his preference was Wisconsin from the get-go. I would think his outlook on the roster looks even better after this year where he could hypothetically be a really major part of the team.

“I committed to Wisconsin because their coaching staff was most involved with me,” Storr told On3Sports. “Coach Gard was always involved, which is important to know the head coach is invested in you. I already know about the Badger Nation, and their fan base is crazy.”

One data point on Gard as a recruiter...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

I guess that begs the question with everybody coming back which starting spot does he get?

Crowl, Hepburn, Wahl, Essegian, Storr would be my guess if they go with a small lineup. Maybe Gus Bus is ready for prime time and they go Crowl, Gus, Hepburn, Storr, Wahl

I’m guessing he will compete for Klesmit’s job…but I don’t think he will have much trouble starting over him.

I *think* he'll start but I don't believe it's a given. And I doubt he's been given any guarantees, which is a tribute to him that he's still coming here. It could even come down to matchups vs a particular opponent, or if someone is better coming off the bench vs starting (This past year Essegian would've benefitted from continuing to come off the bench, but they got to the point where they had no choice). It's who's out there at the end of the game, and whether they go big or small he'll fit either way.

He'll get starter minutes.

Reynolds decommits... or detransfers. probably saw minutes cut when they signed Storr. His bro in an assistant at GB now too

If he isn't willing to come in and fight for minutes... meh.

Did he say anything about being blessed by the 2-3 weeks he spent as a Badger?
