If we had opted for a ball control offense to start the season I genuinely believe we would have been an easy playoff team. I think we have too many weaknesses to contend, but if we had been honest about the skill group from the start, IMO we could have won more games than we have.

Crosby's leg is an absolute noodle by today's NFL standards. Modern NFL kickers don't miss short on unblocked 54 yarders.

Yeah, they probably should've went for it.

It hurts us on kickoffs, too. Without looking it up I'd guess we have the lowest touchback percentage in the league. Which is obviously a terrible fit for our coverage units.

A weak legged kicker just doesn't really fit on our team at all.

We have our practice squad kicker handling kickoffs today. Can't think of his name but he didn't put it in the end zone

The theory that a defense should force the offense to have 15+ play drives in order to score makes sense, if, you know, you have a defense that can put some pressure on the offense to eventually make a mistake.  I’m not feeling so good about that here.

Time for #10.

This is pretty damn similar to the situation where Rodgers came in and gave Packers fans SOME hope for the future.

3rd year, neither had shown much in the first couple years...we'll see.

The OL is doing it's job. Christian Watson is doing...well, he's getting open at least. There's just another part of playing WRer he's forgetting. So it's not quite the same, he doesn't have weapons, but it could still be interesting.

My man, Watson! Never doubted it

I loved how he tracked that ball.

I think it was Julio who had a big problem with drops early in his career and he talked about how he would make sure he caught 300 balls a day from the Jugs machine every day with his hands because he was a body catcher. That's what this kid needs to do. He is SO incredibly freakishly athletic...

Man that was pretty.
