To be honest, I'm tired of the Correa drama.  I hope something gets done soon so I don't have to hear about it any longer.

I’m hearing rumblings from sources and I’m starting to become convinced he’s going to the Twins.

I won’t believe anything until a deal actually becomes an official transaction at this point lol

He's going to say, "My bad. I'll take my player's option after all."

Correa is obviously damaged goods to the point where two big money/big market teams signed him to a deal, only to back out. Not sure this is going to end well for the Twins, who have typically been more careful with their credit card,

why would the twins sign him for 6 years when 2 teams had concerns after his physical. I would sure he would have to do another 1 year prove it deal before getting his mega deal. He lost money but his yearly average really didn't drop at all.

The Twins gave him a medical and saw him play for a season. It seems they felt they knew him better than others.

And I suspect it became a war of egos with Cohen, which is why he's not already on the Mets.

If this becomes reality do you think the Giants and the Mets might try for Adames?

Brewers have made it clear they aren’t trading Adames …….

i get that, but his annual yearly value went up after 2 failed physicals. Yes its less yeas and a smaller time commitment, but it still seems to be reckless spending to me.

I think a lot of the concern is as he ages but that's just the feeling I've gotten from this mess. Teams aren't nearly as worried about ages 29-32 Carlos Correa but they're really scared of age 35+ Correa.

Big difference between 6 years and over a decade when it comes to long term potential concerns.

Mets final reported offer was 6/$157.5 with required physicals every offseason that would trigger an opt out of the contract for the Mets if he failed. Twins went 6/$200. That’s a huge disconnect between those two franchises.

The Mets final offer showed me there was at least some concern in the near future.

"Some"? The Mets have been blowing baseball economics out of the water and blowing money for a couple years now. This makes me think that the concern level is pretty dang high.

*Pending Physical...

So a one year deal with the Brewers is still the most likely outcome here?

Correa would have gone missing in the Bermuda triangle had he accepted that. Player Union would have had a stroke.

seems like the perfect time to entertain offers from the Mets.
