I truly am mystified by the decision to kick that FG. I have a tough time believing the nerd chart would have advised that either and even if it did, I wouldn't have done it. 

That was almost no reward with an extremely high risk.

The whole franchise is in such a weird position.  There’s a lot of great things in place, but LaFleur seems to be in that good not great tier and Rodgers is declining and a big cap eater, plus could go retire to a hut somewhere to podcast at any moment.  The receivers could be good but seem too young to get to the promised land right now. The defense underperforms and needs much better safety play.  It’s hard to know which direction they should go.

I don’t actually think he would, but it would be a legitimate thing to question if he chokes away another big game with dumb decisions. At least then I could pound the drum all next year.
