Rough ending for indy.  They will be second guessing the playcall all offseason, though the pass should have worked.  Happy for the Texans, I was rooting for them to make the playoffs.

Too bad about Sam LaPorta.

I do find it odd that people think you will be "rusty" if you don't go all out in the last week of the year but you will also be "rested" the week after a bye.

I think if you can create a bye week for yourself like the Lions could have, you do it and rest your stars. I realize they mathematically have a shot at the two seed but still very unlikely. However if you're the Ravens or Niners, you play everyone. A two week bye IMO is flirting with disaster.

It looked bad but then I saw him walk off, that doesn’t mean it’s not an acl but has anything been reported? I am listening to Packer pregame so have game muted.

How can Iowa have such horrible offenses yet develop Pro Bowl caliber tight ends left and right?

Poor QB play and poor offensive play calling?

Meanwhile, the Panthers have not scored since hanging 30 on our defense two weeks ago.

UPDATE: Their 30 points have turned out to be their final points of the season. You can take away the * now.

The gushing over Belichick omg please make it stop!  He wasn’t that great of a HC.  He was basically awful without a franchise HOF QB.

His coaching decisions both on the field and who he hired were horrible after Brady left.  If he was that great of a HC he would have had a better record after Brady left.  He didn’t and the game absolutely passed him by.  He wouldn’t allow analytics and restricted how many coaches were on the team.  He has done absolutely nothing since Brady left.

Lol dolphins intercept ball for a touchback but lose 20 yards of filed position because it was 4th down.

I'm really against having a Monday night game in the playoffs.  I am so glad we aren't playing Monday night, and not just because work sleep would need to be sacrificed.

Anything to make a buck. Goodell has to be the least fan friendly commissioner in sports history no matter what he says at the draft.

C'mon...he was an AMAZING coach. He's been a terrible GM, but...HC? Or just coach in general.

The SBs with the Giants, his run with the Pats...that's not all Brady. 9 Super Bowls.

He's been a poor talent evaluator as the GM and that's been his downfall, but there's no way you can doubt his coaching. Brady was a game manager for a few of those. His defenses were always among the best and played even better in the biggest spots...he puts players in the best possible positions.

Belicheck is one of the best coaches ever.

My brother lives in Jacksonville.  I knew they were due up in the rotation, but I thought the NFL had tweaked the scheduling formula.  My wife has a week in Orlando on her short list of vacation spots.

Read some quotes this afternoon from Rodgers about what the Jets need to do in order to establish a winning culture....if someone could get him a mirror I think he'd realize he's just asked to be traded.

Vrabel fired by Titans.  Weird that they would fire Vrabel when there were rumors of the Patriots possibly trading for him.  Vrabel should be the next Patriots HC to replace Belichick.

Speaking of culture....who was traded between last season and this season?

Lombardi > Belechick.

I won't argue with that...but that you're comparing the two says a helluva lot about Belichick.

That's a bit strange to me, but maybe it's simply an age thing. Younger players, a looser locker room, more relaxed. Both Rodgers and Favre have talked about relating to younger players...could be that simple.

Though there's a flip side to that and it's been some undisciplined play. A lot of penalties, particularly on STs.

I love this video though. Starting at ~9 minutes the "are you kidding me?" And then the Vikings fan covers his face and says, "so nothing's changing...he owns the division!"
