I am not saying you shant feel the suspense whatsoever. But, call me crazy: I didn't feel suspense in your words. I felt pessimism and a lack of belief. I felt criticism and disparagement. Am I wrong? All I am saying to you is let these men make mistakes. Some nights they'll lose. BUT, it will never be perfect. We had the cushion today, IMHO, to enjoy that suspense. We had the advantage. Maybe I'm misreading it? Either way. I don't begrudge you your experience whatsoever. I'm always going to be an eternal Brewers optimist.

There is a tangible negative to the way today’s game played out.

By failing to add on any runs after Contreras HR and being forced to use Wilson for 2 innings and Williams to finish,  the bullpen will be weaker tomorrow than it would have been with a more comfortable win.

One thing about the new rules that encourage stealing:  You need a catcher who can THROW. Do we have that?

I propose that we did not have one today.

Contreras is fine. He's pretty middle of the pack in terms of pop time. Caratini has the worst pop-time in the MLB. 

But our pitchers were doing terrible jobs holding runners today. Most of these SB the catchers never even had a shot at getting the runner.

They’re capable of throwing 3 days in a row, but it’s a question of how effective they’re going to be and how it might affect them down the road. 

Williams threw 26 high stress pitches today after an inning yesterday. I will be shocked if he’s in tomorrow.

That's dumb, he's hardly pitched this year, if the situation arises he should be in there.  The babying of pitchers has done nothing except lead to more injuries.
