I don't think that offer would be nearly good enough and I don't like the idea of giving up almost 7 years of an elite catcher and OFer for a rental. I'd get over it and enjoy the hell outta it...but I am fine with the fact that our farm system will continue to grow and we'll take our chances with the staff we have and hopefully a couple bats who can just be solid hitters at 1B/DH, maybe as a platoon player in the OF...
