Literally laughed out loud at this. I think this article has a lot more merit if you pull Chourio's name out of it completely. He's just not getting traded. He's probably the only prospect we have that's effectively off the table in all realistic trade scenarios.

I disagree.  I think it would take an absolute star player to pry away any of these 4 guys:  Chourio, Black, Quero, and Misiorowski.  I think those 4 guys are as close to untouchable as it can get, and rightfully so.

I wonder if the writer would be a fan of trading PCA and Horton for HSK. Seriously.. some of these articles.. Next: "Why trading two-way superstar Noah Campbell for Shohei Ohtani is a poor idea"

Not sure about this trade AT ALL. I mean, with Joey Wiemer's already elite flow and Corbin Burnes hopefully returning to his Cy Young hairdo, how can we be sure that the Brewers won't suffer from swag overload?

It's a legitimate concern.

The guy's fandom is irrelevant. The idea is ludicrous and laughable no matter who wrote it.

Yeah but it smacks of the kind of trade that would come from someone who doesn't really know (or like) the team he's writing about.  It's just terribly misinformed.  I mean, I'd like Soto and Tatis for Colin Rea and Julio Teheran, but I'm not going to actually propose that trade.  Why propose something that has zero chance of happening, unless it's for clickbait?  Seriously undermines the credibility of the writer.

Well, no it isn’t. But if you’re using BTV, like at all, then I understand why you and I aren’t seeing eye to eye on pretty much anything. If any site is for lazy people and trolls, it’s that one.

So exactly how do YOU come up with your valuations?

LOL...in what world do you think the Brewers would trade Chourio ALONE for Kim...and that's before you double down on the absurd and throw in Quero or Misiorowski.

There's a very good reason this is the deal that "Nobody is talking about." It's because...it is ridiculous.

This very much feels like Clancy, but the exact opposite.

I personally find this trade quite impractical and highly unlikely to happen - for both teams for multiple reasons.

BUT, for anyone who follows the broader MLB landscape one thing should be agreed upon here: Kim is a fantastic baseball player. Likely the MVP of the Padres season - what he has done since they made him their lead-off is remarkable. I still think he's a player most fans don't appreciate because the Padres lineup is stacked with big personalities and big names.

Yes, he's a very good player. He's not the type of player you trade Chourio, Quero, Misiorowski+ for.

That player is...Soto from last year or...I don't even know who. We all know he's a very good player. It's an absurd trade though.

Just curious...shouldn't this article get banished to the trade rumors forum as I just don't see it ever coming to fruition? The Brewers organization is just too analytical.
