Crap ! Why couldn't Burnes come back out ?

Because he threw so many high stress pitches just to make it through 6.

Im having flashbacks to last year’s deadline week collapse with the Nats taking on the role,of the Pirates.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I can’t stand giving up 0-2 hits.

To be fair we picked up back to back 0-2 hits in the top of the inning but then did nothing with them.

This would be a really bad time for an extended losing streak.

Wow.     Lost the burnes game to the nationals

i love when people quote the playoff predictor scenarios.     The brewers were such a huge favorite over the reds/cubs a few days ago.     No freaking way were they a 70/80% chance of winning the division

never ever ever follow that crap.     Sometimes you can be a slave to numbers

Yeah.  Those pitches were also bad.  Just far too close to the strike zone

Just sell Burnes at his peak please

That would've been two calendar years ago, so a bit late to the party at this point.

If he is traded before he becomes a FA, they'd get more return for trading him this offseason than at this year's deadline with so few teams in total go for it mode, anyway.

The Brewers have been doing it with smoke and mirrors all year.  The smoke is clearing and showing that this team just blah

I think the team has a negative run differential. Just can't expect to keep winning one run games at the pace this team has done.

The lack of scoring runs has made Counsell use our three best relievers way too often and they are wearing down.

I agree. I think they're starting to show the workload.

Its not too late to do the right thing and get a haul for Burnes tomorrow. I doubt it happens but this team isn't a serious championship contender and the Dodgers have just the right combination of young pitching to give us for Burnes.
