Burnes just lost it a bit. Those were three hard hit balls all right down the middle (and another hanger that was missed). Hopefully he can get through six and keep 'em at two.

Its weird , he will just have that one inning where he's down the middle and gets hit hard or can't throw a strike .

We have our three aces throwing in this series

This should be a sweep against such mediocre MLB talent

We can’t relax & start struggling against these weak teams

Now is the time to win these games against lesser competition & grow our NL Central lead

Rally time

I swear it feels like we lose most of burnes starts

Who had Justin Steele as considerably better than Corbin burnes this year? and they’re talking about being lucky…

This really shouldn't be surprising. They've been playing to the level of their competition all season. I wish we were playing playoff teams down the stretch.

Bad memories from series at PNC Park are bubbling to the surface.

I never bother to analyze the strength of schedule with this team when we come up so short against the worst teams.

I’m tired of these games that burnes “needs” to win.    And it’s the same crap.       Can we just please pal ease please never hear the no one wants to face Milwaukee in a short series nonsense

I'm sure Atlanta and LA are just frightened at the thought of facing this team.

The offenses maddening habit of disappearing at the worst possible time quickly erases any playoff hope every time i start thinking they could make some noise.

I might be in the minority but I can't wait to trade Burnes this offseason.

I wouldn't go that far , but .....   There are times , not to many , where we need him to have his A game and he doesn't ! Fortunately his B game is still good if he was on a team that could score runs consistently !

Expect nothing from this team and hope for the best but I don't see this team advancing very far in the playoffs.

People need to stop worrying about how we perform in the playoffs.          The brewers have to make it first.       They aren’t a lock.

4 runs in 5 innings against the pirates is like having your E or E- stuff

Not “most” but coming into tonight they are 15-12 in his starts. Really need better from an ace.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

They'll most likely make it even as a wild card since the competition is so weak.

Burnes appears to be pitching like a frustrated guy. Lack of runs gets to some guys after awhile. He has been a great Brewer but feels like a fresh start is needed.

I was about to type this exact sentence - word for word

I’m honestly ready to see what types of prospects he brings back to Milwaukee

I have no confidence in him - his start against LA is the outlier - these games like tonight are the norm

Enough already
