I could see that saving a TD on defense.  And a halfway competent o-line at least helps flip the field position battle to neutral, perhaps.  I don’t think we’re winning this game if healthy, but we’re not looking like this.

I just wanted to see growth from Love and these young guys. They're doing better, Love needs games like this...as much as it sucks.

Also, Josh Myers, Royce Newman, JRJ...they're just not good enough. I want to see Walker at Guard and I'd like to see them draft an OT in the 1st Rd, and then a guy like Van Pran in the 2nd Rd.

Philly, SF, KC...you need dominant OLs.

Can't take yourself out of a drive before it starts with a terrible first down play like that. All on MLF.

Yep...maybe just start with an off tackle run to keep things rolling - makes no sense to get cute and give a good defense with speed all kinds of chances to blow the drive up before it starts

MLF has called a terrible game.

I don't think you can call a good game when your OL is getting tossed around like this.

Getting the ball to your skill players in space, maybe that's a double pass...IDK, but if you don't execute, it doesn't matter.

The 4th down play last week where they throw it back to Love was WIDE open...but they dropped it, then Love slipped.

Det is just physically abusing us up front. They got Sewell, Decker, Ragnow and then two good run blocking Guards. We're just outmanned.

Not sure why Detroit is even taking the deep drop for the big sack like that. They keep running the ball and wearing us down and we're probably not stopping it.

I can't believe they gave them that play. The clock definitely expired.

Yeah, if we do end up coming back, that is going to be at least half the narrative.

Yeah, Herbstreit, I think we can stop calling Stokes a “starting” CB now.  He hasn’t been that for a while.

Lets not forget what an impressive rookie year he had. He was ranked 1st(I believe) among ALL NFL CBs in press man coverage. He's been out with injuries and he's working his way back, but...he SHOULD be a starter when healthy.

Wondering why the nfl doesn't have a buzzer at end of quarter clocks

They keep an exact clock on the field, so it can show 0:00 and still have .5 left on it.

I didn't watch that close to see if it was obvious or not.

I hope he can, but he looked bad in year 2, and he hasn’t really proven anything yet as far as I’m concerned.
