2 things that stuck out to me. Lara is in the AA/AAA group and Barrios is in the A+ group with Guilarte in the A group.

Lara (as you already know) is just so good. One of those guys that impacts every facet of the game in disruptive ways. All the accolades coming from Murphy in MLB ST seemed to be a re-emphasizing and clear testament to how highly the org views him. Hard to fathom we could be very possibly be seeing him in Triple-A by season's end given we were scouring DSL box scores just two years ago. The International pipeline carries onward.

Interesting that no information was posted about the first week or so of MiLB games.  Glad to see the return of spring lineup posts.

Yay! I thought we’d have to wait until Tuesday to see the lineups start to get posted.

Where have you gone Felix Valerio? This fan turns his lonely eyes but doesn’t see you…

Not sure when we will see his name in the lineup, but he looked completely healthy when I saw him earlier this week.

Does anyone know what the color codes are for those lineups?

I thought maybe L/R, but there are 4 colors (black, red, blue and the 3/15 one had green)

The colors aren't consistent from day to day, but red is generally lefties, black is generally righties, blue is generally switch hitters. Except for the first day, when green was switch hitters. And today, Noah Campbell is in green when he should be in red. And the whole "AAA" lineup today is in blue, which is not correct. So it's spring training for media personnel as well, though we're grateful for the effort to disclose information to us.

I think that this is the first sign we've had 21-year old RHP Kevin Briceno is healthy in at least a year. Principally a starting pitcher, he missed the 2023 season after terrific results in the DSL in 2021-2022 and a 6-game stint in the Arizona Complex League in July/August 2022.

INFs Gregory Barrios and Daniel Guilarte continue to be flip-flopped versus conventional expectation. This is the first time I'm seeing 22-year old undrafted RHP Harrison Durow (signed July 31, 2023) listed in any game.

I just thought I'd share we have a Sounds/Mudhens series coming up next weekend.

Dance Dancing GIF by Soul Train

I'm not excited. You're excited!

This will be the first series (albeit a brief mini-series) between the two clubs since May of 2022 when they split 3-3 @ Toledo. Of course, I still remember that opening early May doubleheader sweep @ Toledo in 2021. They faced ol' Brewer RHP Wily Peralta. Corey Ray manned the CF grass. How the seasons change!

This is the first time we're seeing LHP Darrell Thompson this spring and perhaps the first time we've ever seen LHP Mark Manfredi's name (24-year old, 9th round draft pick in July 2023 who started 15 of 16 games for Dayton University last year).

Just a friendly reminder for all:

Manfredi came on the radar with Dayton because of his K numbers (3rd in A-10 and 66th nationally) as a senior. He opined after that season that he could have had some more and been higher in the rankings but he was pulled early in a start against U-Mass to preserve himself for the A-10 tourney. He's a really interesting story as he completely reinvented himself post-UCL. He developed a four pitch mix by the time he left Dayton. His last known baseball was in the Cape Cod League in preparations for the possibility of being drafted last summer. In three GS in said Cape Cod League he managed a 2.10 ERA with 16 K to 4 BB.

** The Cape Cod League is generally seen as the equivalent of Low-A MLB baseball fwiw**

I wonder if the new regulations count guys who are over for camp as well. Otherwise it seems odd that unless I have missed someone only two players from last year’s DSL squads have appeared in lineups or as reserves so far.

I guess they heard you, as today’s lineup cards include Ibarguen, Di Turi and Nadal, each of whom has not yet played above DSL ball.

We also have our first Brian Navarreto sighting of the spring. Nature and athletes are healing.

I'm hoping to see Jason Woodward's name on here one of these days. I know its more likely that we will see him in June-ish but one can dream.

Honestly I was fully expecting him to have been on the 60-day list that came out, so maybe he will be back earlier on (or there are still more to come).

Happy to see four more lineups today, including RHP Blake Whiting's first appearance since early September 2023 at Low-A Carolina. The 24-year old registered 13 Ks in 7.1 IP in the ACL and Low-A last year, including 4 Ks and 2 saves in the ACL playoffs which don't show up in his official stats.
