Patrick Dorrian is playing pretty much everyday and has 1 hit since the start of April. He's 0 for his last 33 and 1 for 51 since the start of April

Yeah his season has been a nightmare. I mean last year's late summer strikeout regression was worrisome. I don't think any of us Dorrian Stans saw this start coming. It's a shame.

Biloxi added a run top of six with a Dirden triple and Yerzy sac fly.

Bo Bo came back out for his third frame and put up another zero by inducing a 5-4-3 DP after a one out walk.

And Yujanyer strikes out the side in the ninth to go nine up nine down six strikeouts in his A+ debut.

Can’t get much better than that. A number of our international signees have found the A to high-A jump difficult lately. Hopefully he is the exception.

The Loons hitters were absolutely clueless against Herrera's slider. Constantly chasing it and swinging over the top of it. That was a dominant 3 innings from him.

Well you definitely take notice of RHP Yujanyer Herrera's High-A debut. 3 IP, 0 ER, 6 K? Sheeesh. Very very impressive carry-over.

Make that 0 for his last 35 and 1 for his last 53 for Patrick Dorrian as he strikes out looking against a 94mph FB right down the middle.

Luis Lara singles, steals second and comes around to score on a Matthew Wood two out single.

Now 2-0 Wisco bottom of three. Will Rudy has gone nine up nine down with three strikeouts thus far.

I was really high on Wood early last season when he was destroying Low-A pitching. Struggled in Wisco for the rest of the year and I thought he maybe plateaued. Small sample size and all that but I am glad to see him perform well this year. One can dream of one day seeing him in AmFam.

I think Matt Wood has quietly had a very nice start to his pro career. Has taken sort of a center stage for me this year with Quero & Satch Norman both on the shelf.

Yeah, definitely nice to see him get off to a good start even if it’s still small sample territory.

One encouraging thing over his minor league career even with the struggles at Wisco last year is more walks (83) than strikeouts (77) over 537 PAs.

Also always like a lefty hitting catcher too. He didn’t have much of a platoon split last year (707 OPS vs RHP in 383 PA | 691 OPS vs LHP in 87 PA) but is killing RHP this year with a 930 OPS (only 48 PA though).

Boeve doesn’t seem like he is going to be in Biloxi very long. Crazy how good he’s been so far.

I dunno, his BA has taken a huge nose dive, from .553 at A+ to .356 in AA. ;)

Half of his hits in AA have been doubles or triples.
