Y'all..  Murphy having his kids or grandkids at the press conference has no bearing on how the team does. If upper management or players had an issue with it, they'd tell him. It's probably time to just let this issue die.

What about the press.    That’s who it affects.   Not the players.

Murphy’s son plays in the Padres system.  Those are his grandchildren.

I could care less if the kids are there or not there

I am curious to know if those are his kids or grandkids

I believe I heard early in the season that those are his kids

Inquiring minds want to know

And - for what it’s worth - this topic is far more interesting than tonight’s game … Freddy made sure of that in the first inning

Can't they still conduct interviews?

It’s pretty annoying when they wear Cardinals hats….

Its so encouraging seeing Chourio getting better as the season goes on.

Much more under control in the box. Head's not flying around anymore.

Our owner is to cheap to be all in. Heck the Cubs already spent triple the money we did.

HPat Murphy's son Kai shares a special bond with his father

Maybe they are but his oldest is 23.

How many children does Pat Murphy have?

His daughter Keli Alvarez is the wife of former MLB player Pedro Alvarez while Kai is his son from his previous marriage. Presently, Kai is 23 years old and is associated with the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball. Moreover, he attended Arizona State University and was bron in Chandler, Arizona on August 26, 2000. However, there is very limited information on his two other sons, Austin and Jaxon.

Yep, and his daughter is married.  He has 4 kids total…. Everything points to them being grandkids

That was a brutal AB by Turang.

I was quietly hoping for him to drop one down the third baseline and at least move him over.

Here it is from the man himself, A 37 year old daughter, two grandkids, a 23 year old in the Padres organization, and a 9 year old and 5 year old. Not sure if they are the ones who join him in the presser or not.

Unless Turang and Contreras start hitting this lineup is way short.

And neither one of them have been very good for quite some time now.
