Finish out the practice with three FGs. Carlson hits from 57, but they iced the kicker...in practice.

2nd kick, Carlson wide right(low snap).
3rd kick, Joseph wide right.

Carlson looked pretty good otherwise. Joseph as well, but Carlson looks much easier and smoother.

Defense always ahead of the offense, but I like the way they're playing on D. Pretty vanilla obviously, just base defense, lots of man.

Lot of 7-8 man boxes.

Great to see Watson, Stokes out there running free and the CBs really playing tough....eh, that's about as much as you can take away from a family night. Good energy, aggressive defense and nearly sold out Lambeau for a practice!

Highlight of the night was definitely the kids catching punts...one upped Ja!

My sons and I were out on the deck watching it on my laptop.  We came in later and my wife asked, "What was all the cheering about?"  Such a great moment.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Stole this from another board, but it was just too good not to share.  From Drew Magary, formerly of Deadspin, now at Defector:

In each of the past three years, the Vikings have had a late-season game against Green Bay that had major playoff implications. They lost those games by a combined score of 111-37. On national television.

So, with the Olympics blocking the Packers from being on NBC, it seems my options are watching on ion TV or stream via Packers.com only on a desktop.  I don't own a desktop and it seems the ion TV on YouTube TV is more of a national stream than local because it has law and order on it.

Any suggestions on how I can watch the game?

Remember what Yoda said:

seeing the new kickoff for the first time, its weird. Not a fan. Not sure how we will ever not see a touchback, so just make it automatic then.

Also still confused on why they have a developmental QB as their backup? They found their guy, sign Tannehill and either try to get a 7th for Clifford, move him to PS, or cut him.

Well those three consecutive failed running attempts on 2nd and 1, 3rd and 2, and 4th and 1 looked awfully familiar for AJ Dillon and the O-Line. Yuck.

Has there ever been a softer strong  “big running back” than Dillon?  The term “Dancing Bear” is usually reserved for linemen.

Yeah that wasn't a good look. Way too much stutter stepping. I get there was penetration but you still have to go downhill and fast. Way too much dancing. It's early but with all the talk in camp about he looked like a different back that particular series looked like the same old AJ Dillon.

In other news, Van Ness looks like an absolute Man Beast out there. Holy hyeck. Gimme gimme. Love what I'm seeing on his run fits and holding point while also reacting and getting fantastic penetration.

getting rid of Berry and moving to a 4-3 will help him I think.

Telfort very much suffering through the ups and downs of being an inexperienced RT. Melton has to catch that 2nd down toss - tho it was behind him slightly. 2nd unit sloppy so far.

We better pray that there are no injuries on the starting offensive line this season - especially at lT & RT

The same is obviously true at QB

The backups at those positions are not very good

Jordan Akins being open by about 10 yards of openness in  the flat and in all directions was a familiar look 😂

This group on D seems to have zero guys that can make plays.

Two very poor contain reps from Cox Jr. and previously Enegbare biting unnecessarily on RPO fakes to the center of the Line. Can not do that.
