That's too much for an over-the-hill Montas. Wiemer does suck, but he's young. Junis has pitched well enough so far. I don't see why they don't just try him out.

Yeah, not quite feeling that trade. I mean, Weimer isn't good, but Junis is better than the guy we're getting. Hook must really see something there.

Why trade Junis when we obviously need long middle relievers.  Montas is just a guy.

If Joey figures it out, we get to have him mash on us the next half decade.  If he doesn't fugure it out, he'll still mash on us, even if he sucks against everyone else.
