Sheesh, Myers giving up bombs today. Some caught, some not.

This coming off a mediocre performance his last time out. Could this be the beginning of the shine wearing off of him?

I wonder if there is any thought being given to skipping a start or two for some of the starters.

C-Rod and Hall could come up to pitch a game or two in September

The only problem is, who would pitch then.

I admit I’m a worrywart.  I understand it would take a monumental collapse and comeback by either the Cubs or Cardinals to lose the division but these games are stressing me out.

Craigtember is coming. 😀

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Hall, Ashby, Ross, C-Rod.  Just depends on how serious they are about getting a bye.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

The call had to stand on Perkins catch, but I’m not convinced that ball didn’t squirt out of his glove just enough that the wall helped him pull it in.

Maybe, didn't see anything definitive though.  I've seen calls that looked much more decisive go against the Crew so I ain't complaining.

More likely that he is getting tired.  He is only 18 innings pitched away from last years 140 IP.  I think if someone would be able to step in he would be shifted to the bullpen at some point in September.  I am just not sure there is someone available to do that.  He has been leaving a lot of pitches over the middle of the plate.  Which to me is saying he is starting to get tired and is hitting a wall.
