Not sure why Ashby ws up….just let two lefty #4 and #5 hit 3rd time.

They got him up too late to face them……Montas hadn’t allowed a hit……..it turned quickly after that double…..which probably should have been caught

Montas is really looking good tonight. Quite the turnaround since joining the Brewers.

Without fail every time someone does this in a Montas GT the following inning he self-destructs.

Contreras had a brief resurgence but he’s back in the doldrums.

0 for the week with a lot of K’s.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

The offense is what's going to keep the Brewers from making any kind of a run in the playoffs.

I’ve seen this kind of offense the last 2 or 3 post seasons………it wasn’t fun

And we all know the post has nothing to do with anything that happens……it’s more likely that the 3rd time through is a problem for him

Can we please put a moratorium on how great montas is doing on every game thread.

it’s an automatic 3-4 spot the next inning

always 3rd time through order. C’mon Murphy…..take your geritol and wake up.

Does anyone consider this a successful season if say we lose the first two playoff games to our stuck up ex GM.

If you ask, in a game thread, during a game the Brewers are losing, the answer will most likely be resoundingly "no".

It's been a fun as heck season with a much more dynamic offense than they had last year, and we're on the cusp of a division championship.  If you value the journey as much as the destination, then yes.

Thats a fine opinion to have and understandable but flopping in the playoffs has gotten old and I would like to see some playoff success which has eluded this team since 2018.
