Well, Pfaadt looks a lot better than he did in the desert last Saturday night.

I would assume intensity and concentration is going to be down tonight

How can Ohtani not be considered the best baseball player EVER ?

Babe Ruth

Ted Williams

Stan Musial

Hank Aaron

Willie Mays

Actually Ohtani is #38.

It’s hard to compare him to players who play in the field every day.

Babe Ruth is the closest  analogy, but in a no DH era his best pitching years were separate from his biggest hitting years.

Ohtani also doesn’t have the excellence for an extended period like players like Willie Mays and Hank Aaron. I think Ohtani needs at least a few more years to be considered the best ever.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Can we spend this last week and half putting other catchers behind the plate so Contreras can get some rest.   We have three of them

bye is a pipe dream.   Do what you can to be ready for game one.   Arms and legs fresh

If you're a UTIL 7-8 games a month you can't afford to make mistakes like that. Half (or more) of his value comes from defensive versatility.

I can’t complain about our trades this year, which have largely worked out quite well, but I really wish we could have upgraded the utility infield position. That would have been really huge for this team.

Been brutal and not enough bat to make up for it.

Judging by their performance and preparation tonight, the Brewers don't seem to think they have any realistic chance of catching the Dodgers or Phillies.
