Thank you, Brew Crew!

You were not a bore in '24!

Game 162 ... can you believe it's through?

For the playoffs, we are gaining steam!

This is our team, and they make us beam!

Let Rea go as deep as possible in the game today, then leave him off the WC roster. Right?

Yep.  6 innings, even if he has to wear it.  Then Hall, Milner, Mears can cover the rest.

Objectively meaningless reasons that I subjectively care about winning today’s game:

Currently tied for the third-best record in MLB; could tie for second-best if the Phillies lose.

Chance to get to second-best run differential in MLB (Yankees presently four better).

Ten-game division margin looks shinier in the history books than nine.

Contreras, Hoskins and Mitchell resting today.
Not sure why Monasterio has the day off.

I suppose you can pull Adames later in the game. Give the appearance of a competitive lineup for Arizona and Atlanta’s sake.

..........And even though I have no great hatred for him, going 6-0 vs David Stearns would be kinda fun

Anyone who sits today would have two days off & some guys might not like to sit that long AFA maintaining their timing at the plate, so the lineup might take that into account.

On the surface, pulling Adames halfway through sounds like a decent idea.

Chris Narveson was 26-18 with 4.65 ERA in Milwaukee.

I haven’t followed the Packers for a single moment this year. I was surprised when I saw that Narveson needed to get off of the roster after today’s game..

Narv Dawg could swing it too.

4th all time among Brewers pitchers (min. 50 PAs ) with a 44 wRC+, just fractions ahead of Sabathia (42 wRC+) and Gallardo (41 wRC+).

He had as many RBI (12) as Sheets in 362 fewer PAs.

Randy Wolf and Zack Greinke are the only Brewers pitchers to record a stolen base. Can't help but wonder if maybe they had some kind of contest going on similar to their gentlemanly rivalry over who could throw the slowest curveball.

Guys, one run. 🤷‍♂️

They must have been watching the Pack play like garbage today.  😉

On track for six innings pitched, three earned runs.

I mean it's quite unlikely to stay that way if he keeps giving up this quality of contact. Mets have a .506 xBA right now and everything except for two batted balls has been hard hit.

With the Padres taking an early lead over the DBacks, we're on track for Brewers-Mets and no games played tomorrow.

Scenario: Braves lose; Mets win; D-backs lose
Result: Braves, Mets clinch Wild Card spots; D-backs eliminated

Would they need to play the games tomorrow to determine seeding?

Being heavily hinted that they wouldn't.
