I can see the difference but it is very slight. But how can you argue with the with the coach after Pete Alonso homers saying to him, "I Told You! What did I tell you."

I think this kind of advanced scouting is a real problem for all pitchers. Unless you have a singularly unhittable pitch (Mariano Rivera) where it doesn't matter if the batter knows it's coming or not, NOT tipping your pitches is hard. I can imagine a lot of pitchers experimenting with hiding their glove behind their hip, or doing the Ryan Dempster flap.

I know that last night, I wanted Devin to throw more well-located fastballs.

It was reported Mears was tipping his pitches before he got traded. If a professional hitter only has to focus on the angle of the glove and knows if the air bender is coming or not, its a big help. Also I don't think many pitchers do tip them. Look at how dominant he was on Wednesday vs being very average on Thursday. I think a strong case can be made that something was seen on video after game 2.

Possibly.  But poor control and an airbender that wasn't moving a ton were probably more the issues.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

... and poor control on the day after he closes was a bit of an issue for him this year.

the great thing about the air bender is that it looks like a fast ball coming out of his hand, and the hitter doesn't realize it until its too late. If there is a tell (no matter how small), its a big advantage to the hitter. Yes he wasn't locating his pitches last night, which had nothing to do with Alonso's homer, I'll give you that.

Yes, but when the bender only dips, it is also much more hittable.  At least one of those hits was on a bender that stayed at the belt.

What a bummer this is what did us in.

You can't be making a mistake like that on that stage, especially if you're someone on the level of Devin Williams.

On the bright side it'll make it easier for fans to deal with him getting traded this winter.

There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.
