I like Berti alot if we are going to be cheap. Solid defense

I would pass on Sheets, if we trade Black maybe but I don't see anything different than Bauers. I would probably prefer going EMJ than Sheets.

He is already 34 years old.  I wouldn't even put him ahead of Monasterio on the roster.

He is, it would have to be a 1 year min deal. I think Boeve or Wilken will be playing 3rd in 2026 but neither are ready.

Agree, he would likely platoon to some extent with Dunn or maybe Frelick if they have him give 3B another go.

2023 Monaserio yes, 2024 probably not. But again it kind of depends on how cheap the team is this offseason. Obviously if we don't add anyone Mone and Dunn/Frelick probably platoon 3B. There are probably 5 better options than Berti if we spend some money and a bunch of trade options before Berti or Mone at 3B.

Jose Rojas would make more sense.  No power but can get on base.  Decent glove.

Berti would be a fine signing for a utility bench option. He’d be a bad choice for a starting 3B
