A pitcher who is totally excused is RH closer Justin Yeager, who had a very full and successful winter ball campaign in Puerto Rico, culminating in work at the Caribbean Series.

Yeager is on board today (Saturday).

As are two of the DSL standouts for the first time - INF Luis Pena and OF Jose Anderson. Exciting!

Sunday 3/9 Gameday at KC:

MINOR DETAILS: Over from Minor League camp: INF Luke Adams (96), INF Blake Burke (99), OF Luis Castillo (94), INF Eduardo García (88), INF Daniel Guilarte (0), INF Jesús Made (92), 1B Ernesto Martinez Jr. (86), OF Bladimir Restituyo (97), OF Yophery Rodríguez (89), RHP Kaleb Bowman (58), RHP Sam McWilliams (84), RHP Zach Peek (66) and RHP Justin Yeager (57).

***

Listing Martinez, Jr. is a technicality as he's now back in minor league camp. You'll find Rodriguez' base on balls and a Luke Adams error that led to an unearned run in the 9th. Otherwise, rather quiet (0-for-3 in the combined various official at-bats).

Monday 3/10 Gameday vs. SEA:

MINOR DETAILS: Over from Minor League camp: INF Luke Adams (96), INF Eric Brown Jr. (92), INF Wes Clarke (97), OF Yhoswar García (89), INF Cooper Pratt (87), OF Garrett Spain (98), INF Jheremy Vargas (94), C Yannic Walther (93), INF Brock Wilken (95), RHP Kaleb Bowman (58), RHP Chase Costello (57), RHP Blake Holub (66), RHP Nick Merkel (75) and RHP Zach Peek (54)

First camp game for Brock Wilken, also for Yhoswar Garcia and Yannic Walther. Walther has been playing for Germany's (unsuccessful) qualifying attempt at a 2026 WBC team slot.

We'll update later on, but the link is available "live" above for now.

And he makes us feel like it's 2024 again .... 0-2 with a K.  Sigh

EBJ with a hit, so that's a nice sign, and he had a SB to boot.

And Bo Bowman with the stranded runner, first batter HBP, then two outs, and he earns the W.

As noted above, an OK outing for Kaleb Bowman on paper, but...

Seattle Mariners Waiting on X-Rays for Backup Catcher Mitch Garver
Mariners manager Dan Wilson said that the team is still waiting to find out whether or not Garver has any damage in his hand/wrist area after leaving Monday's game with a hit-by-pitch.

Were the minor league ST lineups posted here in the past or am I just imagining that and I actually saw it elsewhere?

Yeah, feel like I remember seeing them here last spring.

Believe someone (Brewers PD or one of the beat guys?) was posting them on Twitter then a poster (@Ro Mueller maybe?) was copying them over to the forums.

BrewersPD traditionally posts them. Hopefully they continue that this year.

BrewersPD usually starts posting them from about March 14 and yes, we like to create a forum and paste them there, usually starting with a loooonngggg list of the Minor League Camp Roster. Fingers crossed.

Glad I wasn’t totally losing my mind about it. Just seeing Woodruff in the A ball game today made we think about those lineups. Hopefully BrewersPD comes through.

MINOR DETAILS: Over from Minor League camp: INF Filippo Di Turi (94), INF Eduardo García (92), C Eric Martínez (0), 1B Ernesto Martinez Jr. (86), OF Demetrio Nadal (89), OF Kay-Lan Nicasia (88), INF Cooper Pratt (87), 2B/C Anthony Seigler (83), RHP Tyler Bryant (66), LHP Josh Maciejewski (58), RHP Evan McKendry (57), RHP Sam McWilliams (84) and RHP Garrett Stallings (68)

First day in big-league camp for Di Turi, Nadal and Eric Martinez.

Martinez has spent four years in the complex leagues, three in the Dominican, and 2024 in Maryvale. He turns 21 on April 6th and certainly hopes to be in Carolina for that birthday.

Di Turi K'd in his lone at-bat in the DH spot.

The 20-year-old Nadal pinch-ran, it was his first game action since August 21st, 2023, as he wrapped up an All-Star season in the DSL (.342/.478/.525 - 1.003 OPS). That was his second DSL campaign. The reason for his extended injury absence was not made public.

In his first spring at-bat, the switch-hitting Nicasia pulled a line-drive RBI single to right off the Cubs' fine reliever Porter Hodge.

I assume we’ll open a new thread in this Minor League forum for minor league camp spring training lineups, similar to prior years.

I’m also worried they may not post the lineups this year, as they’ve not yet posted the ACL and DSL manager and coach names, but hopefully we’re not left disappointed. Fingers crossed.

I am fully prepared for a goose egg given how this past fall's Aussie Winter League news cycle rolled out 😉.

We will update as to who made appearances in this game later tonight.

Wednesday 3/19 Gameday vs CHW:

MINOR DETAILS: Over from Minor League camp: INF Josh Adamczewski (88), 1B Wes Clarke (75), C David García (80), INF Daniel Guilarte (0), OF Luis Lara (89), INF Jesús Made (92), C Eric Martínez (93), OF Kay-Lan Nicasia (90), INF Jheremy Vargas (94), OF Reece Walling (96), RHP Will Childers (99), RHP Chase Costello (57), RHP Blake Holub (66), RHP Sam McWilliams (84), RHP Ryan Middendorf (68) and LHP Grant Wolfram (73)

Holub now up to 5.2 scoreless innings, 1.06 WHIP. Pat Murphy made mention of him recently.

Adamczewski now 3-for-5, Jeff Levering and Lane Grindle were all about his spring performance.

Made 0-for-1 on a lineout, but having listened to the full game, made a couple of nice defensive plays, one in particular on the very impressive side, picking up a deflected ball off Grant Wolfram and "whipping it" in time to Tyler Black for the scoop at first.

The systems teenage positional talent on full display this spring. Following the team’s minor league system the next few years is going to be something special.
