Advantage: NL Central

Not sure where you got those numbers, but the NLC and ALE played 75 games this year, not 216. That would be ~43 games per team against that division. Each team played 15.

The NL Central was 35-40 against the AL East. MKE was 8-7, Cubs and Reds 9-6, STL 3-12, and PGH was 6-9.

STL ruins everything.

That rotation of Skenes and Bubba Chandler will be an absolute waste if they don't do something this off season to address their crapfest of a team.

Imagine being as talented as those two pitchers and being stuck in baseball hell for 6-7 more years.

I don't think it would be out of line for Skenes to ask/demand to be traded given that team's past.  They just never do anything to be competitive.

Interestingly, I’m having a hard time thinking of the last time a young pre-arbitration player demanded a trade. I imagine there could be an element of bad faith in terms of collective bargaining if that became common.

Ok, then maybe he asks politely to be traded...  Either way, I bet he'd love the chance to get out of Pittsburgh.

He can ask, but there is no way he is traded before there is one year left in the arby years.  Mgmt would be crucified if they traded him away.

If Skenes made a public stink and they got an absolute boatload in a trade, I could see trading him away with 2 arby years remaining.

They can ask Trout how he did it.
