Don't want to overreact and I tend to be more of the glass half empty type, but I had zero confidence in this staff from the start and thought 78 wins sounded about right.

I think this team wins 94 games, which is why this start is embarrassing. Totally unprepared team, walk Judge every single time. Completely avoidable disaster today.

I wish Civale had been held back until tomorrow

He gives up too many fly balls to pitch in Yankee Stadium

This could be another long & disappointing afternoon

How does mlb ok one team using a different kind of equipment? Very strange and clearly having some impact

If you’re referring to the bats NYY are using - I believe they are available to all 30 teams. Hoskins said he has already ordered new bats.

How so?

Pitching staff is on life support and we’re 20 innings into the season.  Need some arms to step up and soon.

Also probably going to see a whole lot of teams start using those Yankee bats…

This could be the season where the formula that produced good records is not going to work.

To be fair, the Brewers have an entire starting rotation on the IL.

The new bats the Yankees are using. As long as everyone has access then it's all good. I anticipate everyone will have them soon.

You know, we could hit homers too but we drafted and filled our lineup with a bunch of punch and judy hitters who hit the ball on the ground.

What is different about the Yankee bats?  I thought all teams used the same bats...?

Aside from Turang, I’ve been totally unimpressed by most of our lineups approach through the first 3 games. Pressing in a big way, chasing bad pitches, haven’t seen many base runners so we haven’t had a chance to work magic on the bases.

They engineered new bats that have a bigger sweet spot. More wood on the barrel.

I'll give you Myers and maybe Hall (though he's probably a reliever.)  Everyone else we knew was going to be out at the start of the season at least.

To this organization’s credit, it has long been a stereotype of this team that we’ve been putting 90-95 win teams out there with 75 win talent rosters.

It’s entirely possible that one of these years, it’s going to catch up and we’ll be an actual 75 win team.

This surprises me that not all teams are using similar bats.  I can't think of another league that doesn't have strict rules on the type of equipment their teams use.
