It looks like it'll be a bullpen game for Nashville, as Garrett Stallings is now listed as the starter (max pitch count this year = 26).

They already looked short-handed to cover Saturday-Sunday-Monday, but my expectation was that they might get innings out of Deivi Garcia, Elvin Rodriguez and yesterday's spot call-up Josh Maciejewski. But now Deivi's on the Development List and DL Hall is listed as Sunday's starter. Let's hope these games go well.

Reliever Sam McWilliams also hasn't played since May 11.

Our ACL Brewers are a mind-boggling 1-for-17 with RISP and our 3 pitchers today each have season ERAs north of 8.

We trail 10-5 after 8 innings, though we earlier led 3-0 and 4-3. RHP Carlos Carra started the game with 3 scoreless innings and we do have 10 hits (Quero, Quintana, Holguin - 2 each).

RHP Griffin Tobias gave up 7 runs (6 earned) in 3.2 IP.

Maybe he can be the next Bjorn Johnson - struggling in the ACL and then solid season in low A the next season.

Trailing 3-1 and facing 2-on, 1-out in the 2nd inning, RHP Tanner Gillis escaped that jam (2 pop outs) and has retired 8 of the last 9 batters (1 walk).

Wisconsin has 1 run and 1 hit (Juan Baez) as we head to the 5th.

Gotta love the ACL. The Guardians bring in a new pitcher for the top of the 9th inning, leading 10-5.

That young man walks 4 of 6 Brewers, also yielding a single (Ibarguen) and getting a groundout.

That makes it 10-7 with the bases loaded and 1 out.

Pitching change: Luis Corobo bases clearing, game-tying double! Let’s go!!

The Arizona Brew Crew just put up a 6 spot in the 9th to take the lead back .  Oh my how wild that league can be. Corobi with a big bases loaded double.

About that young ACL Brewers pitching...😅

That was an ACL classic today. Yanez had all sorts of runners on the basepaths. Gives up 2. Crew lose 12-11.

Arggh.  But that pitching in the ACL has been much better overall than last year it seems.

oh well. The offense can put up runs, and most of the pitchers can keep them off the scoreboard. Still a good overall record for the young Crew.

The AA Shuckers can clinch a series victory at home over Knoxville tonight behind RHP KC Hunt (5.28 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, 7.9 K/9 in 30.2 IP). 20-year old CF Luis Lara (3rd youngest player in the Southern League) leads the team in hits (41), doubles (10) and stolen bases (17).

3 close losses at Fredericksburg have Low-A Carolina needing a Game 5 victory to avoid a series defeat. RHP Chandler Welch threw 161 pitches last week, but is back on normal rest. 3B Filippo Di Turi leads the team in HRs (5) and RBIs (29).

The AAA Sounds get a 2nd chance to close out a home series victory over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, though it looks like today will be a bullpen game initially behind RHP Garrett Stallings. 2B/C Anthony Seigler returns to the infield dirt after 2 games as DH.

It's gone pretty under the radar with some of the more well regarded prospects in Biloxi doing well, but Luis Lara is quietly having a very strong season.

Exit velocity looked good on his 2run double.

Very exciting to see what he's doing in AA at his age.  To be honest, he had fallen a bit in my eyes as far as prospect rankings go but what he's done so far this year has me rethinking that.

Luke Adams has had an insane month of May too with a 315/.500/.537 going into today.

Just for reference sake, and a fwiw:

When the wind is really blowing in Biloxi it is near always blowing out to Left.

The wind has really been blowing this week.
