I hope Contreras isn't expecting the Brewers to cut him slack for playing hurt in the next arbitrary session because that's not how they do things. He's costing himself money.

It kind of is when our starting rotation doesn't have much swing and miss stuff and have to labor just to get through five innings and burn through the bullpen. Just because it's the strength of the team doesn't mean it's not a problem.

And I’m not sure he’s helping the team with his stubbornness & desire to keep playing 

We need a manager who makes tough decisions rather than telling us “he wouldn’t sit for a few games”

I’m fairly sure the comment was intended to be our “main or primary problem” … suggesting that the offense is the bigger concern

Yup, I get all that, what I'm saying is that we haven't lost many games because the guys on the mound were the reason we lost. 

The offense is the real issue.
