Not sure I understand what you just typed

Please feel free to be forthright & direct

I’m not good at interpreting back door remarks

His pitch count was around 80. It was reasonable to send him back out with the expectation that he would remain dominant  I would not have done it but it was a reasonable baseball decision to give Miz the next inning

I’m not a fan base … I’m a person

Murphy is not a good in game manager

He’s a great personality & cheerleader for his players

He seldom excels in strategy & pitching decisions

Brewers up 10, new ace opens his career with 9ip+ of no-hit ball looking filthy and dominant, and the game thread is half about a decision to bring him out for another inning when his pitch count was low and the team was already up big.

Seems about right for late june here at brewerfanatic, 😆

I suspect if you peruse the other teams forums you'll find a lot of the same interactions. It's a bit of human nature.

Agree.  I don’t understand why he’s playing so much.

I kind of feel like the Contreras clan are...old school eating baseball types. Not sure either of those dudes knows how not to play (I don't necessarily mean this as a compliment, or an insult, just a loaded observation).

I’m ok with Murphy if he just screams at every ump calling them “cheating mfrs” every game from here on out

Haha ,,, that was impressive yesterday

I believe playing against his pupil Counsell matters to him a great deal

Makes sense.

Would you consider it reasonable or wise to let him remain after the walk? That was my greater concern.

Punctuation is your friend.

Also, aren't you part of the fan base, or are you just here to state your superiority?

If the Brewers were to peddle Freddy what position would be the biggest target?

I assume third base but I'm not sure what's out there that you could even get in a trade that would be a difference maker

I don't think we can trade Peralta if we intend to compete. And trading for an MLB ready 3rd basemen seems foolhardy with Wilken, Adams and possibly Pratt on the way and likely to be NRIs at the very least next year

My opinion. He was pitching a perfect game and we were well ahead. A walk doesn’t really matter that much, although four straight balls might warrant a visit to the mound from Contreras or Hook to settle him down.
