Peter Kussow from Arrowhead goes #133 overall to the Mets.

Last name sounded familiar, so I had to look him up.  Sure enough, his dad was among the group of friends I had (and partied a lot with) in undergrad.  Both of his parents are/were quite the athletes.

Pretty sure that he has a sister that is a top 25ish recruit in the entire country in her class for basketball.....so that would definitely check out with both of their parents being great athletes!

Who are we rooting for to get picked for the big swing?

I don't think you should be expecting a singular big swing. Solid chance the Brewers spread the money around and get a bunch of high school guys

Sure I too think that’s most likely but I was wondering if there was a player anyone liked in particular in case we do go the Pratt route. Bauer is an obvious one and the sheer excitement and buzz would feed families. Though extremely unlikely.

Episcope seems like a Woodward type pick. Buying the stuff despite the injury risk. Had TJ as a senior in high school then internal brace surgery this year so double elbow surgery guy already

Coming off elbow surgery in May gonna guess Episcope is a big underslot deal but still extremely interesting tools to work with when he’s back. Showed out against wake forest when box score scouting.

5-155 Sean Episcope RHP (Princeton)

215 in MLB's board

$447K slot value, don't see them giving him full slot with that injury history.  Probably ~$200K saved here with some upside when he's healthy.

Going hard on pitchers this draft. I think the lower minors needed it, especially HS age guys.

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Big time

He had a 36.1% strikeout rate and 5.6% walk rate over four starts/20 innings with a 3.15 ERA in 2025.

Good feel for a 94-95 fastball, touching 97 mph

Plus grades on a mid 80's slider, solid curveball

Change up is a work in progress, a bit firm at the moment

Creates a ton of spin, fitting right into the Brewers mold while throwing above average strikes

Yeah hard to say. I would guess slightly under. He has options though, go back to school for whatever at Princeton or pitch a year and show he's healthy and maybe he's a 1st rounder.

Don’t think that has anything to do with it tbh. I think pitching development is our strength so you grab as many guys as you can with the traits you like and hope a couple pop off.

His name sounds like a surgical tool.

Unfortunately, the Rangers took Owens last night, I also was a big fan of his...

Here are some names I'll be watching throughout the day today. I'll be tweeting reactions again, if people are interested in following along! I'll also do my best to drop by in here today, but will have a lot on my plate, as I'll be writing articles for the first two picks and then another on rounds 6-10 at least. So a busy day for me 😂

Got Flores for ya!

BTW, Brewers 4th rounder, RHP Josh Flores was indeed teammates at Lake Central HS with Adamczewski & one 'I only throw strikes' Griffin Tobias.

AND, since we're all active in here it is worth mentioning:

Little birdies in the desert shared Saturday was indeed a planned night off for Adamczewski. He is continuing to respond favorably during and post-game. Body is in a good place. I don't know if he'll be playing today and/or tomorrow but, the real good news? He is scheduled to be sent to Carolina to join his Mudcats teammates for the second half push after their All-Star Break.

Ginger liked a tweet I had saying Lake Central is just the Brewers domestic academy
