That last pitch was awesome. You could kind of see it in Woodruff's body language: "I'm ******* destroying this guy right here." And there it was, 95 on the paint.

I like that we don't wait for 2 strikes before we decide to swing like we did in the past. Aggressive baseball is the best.

Besides the two runs, we upped the pitch count on Keller pretty good there. Should be getting in to their pen in the 6th.

But these last month or so is reminding me of 2011 when the Brewers were 54-49 and tied for first place on July 24 and then won 27 of their next 32 to open up a 10 game lead which they rode to the division title.

One difference there was that the losses were more spaced out and the team's longest winning streak was 7 games.

To me the 49-16 record over the last 65 is the one that's truly impressive. A better winning percentage than the 2001 Mariners over >40% of the season. I don't think any of the other crazy hot streaks in franchise history were sustained for barely half this long. Certainly not to the extent of going more than 30 games over .500 and running up an absurd run differential (something like +150) over that time. The 2011 team was only +83 for the whole year.
