Adamczewski playing stellar defense behind his old HS teammate Griffin Tobias today.

Once the offseason hits if I was an opposing GM I'd be calling the Brewers daily for Adamczewski. He is blocked at every level it seems.

That bat is not blocked at any level. They want to see him stay healthy. That is it. They need to see more games under his belt - see how the body holds up - and then it's simply procedural to repeat it at each Stop.

Not to be a downer, but I'm going to share this here in case anyone is planning to make the trek to Appleton in hopes of getting a Made and/or Pena autograph.

I know some people who went to the stadium this morning at 8:00 am, hoping to catch the two of them on their way into the stadium.  He said there was about 6 or 7 people waiting for an autograph when they showed up with their agents (or bodyguards) in tow.  Neither player even looked in the direction of the people waiting for a sig, they completely ignored them.  They were asking them to sign, and they refused to even acknowledge their presence.  Completely ignored them.

If that wasn't enough, I was at this afternoon's game.  There were roughly 10 people waiting by the dugout for Made and Pena to get their autograph.  I witnessed this one, so I know it to be true.  When they walked out of the dug out to go out and get loose with teammates, all the kids started yelling their names excitedly, hoping they would come over to sign.  Again, both players 100% completely ignored them.  Didn't even look their way.  It was obvious that they had no intention of signing for anyone.

Figured they might stop on their way back to the dugout like most players who are summoned for autos.  Nope, same exact thing.  They wouldn't even bother to look over.  Kids were yelling their names, nothing.  IGNORED yet again.

Is this how 18 year old phenoms treat their fans?  I've been going to games for years,  but have never witnessed this kind of rudeness from players before.  They knew damn well there were people looking for autos, but they couldn't even bring themselves to look in their direction.  I couldn't believe it.  It wasn't like there was a mob of people looking for an auto, it was a really small group, just hoping to get a sig from our star players...

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that given their behavior today, they won't even bother to come out and sign autographs on Sunday this weekend for autograph Sunday.

I had heard that neither of them like to sign, but they didn't sign one auto today, for anyone.  Not even one!

Pretty disappointing.

Anyone in Carolina notice the same thing there?  Did they sign for people?

Here’s that Nashville Sounds’ lineup for 24-year old LHP Tate Kuehner’s AAA debut (2.50 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, 10.0 K/9 in 100.2 AA IP), as they aim for a 2-0 series lead at Durham. Let’s see what DH Jeferson Quero has in store after his 5-RBI day yesterday.

Well, that's something. I personally don't give one iota about autographs but that would certainly seem like a downer to have nobody interfacing and explicating the process. Seems like a dropped ball? I know neither speak English. Clearly they are focused purely on their craft but that does seem to come across a bit Holier than thou.

AA Biloxi can take a 2-0 home series lead against Columbus behind LHP Nate Peterson (3.67 ERA, 1.52 WHIP, 7.5 K/9 in 61.1 IP) tonight. RF Garrett Spain (.649 OPS vs. league avg .656) bats leadoff after his 2-HR game yesterday.

That’s one of LHP Anfernny Reyes’ most effective outings, stranding 2 baserunners for Tobias, then tossing another 2 scoreless innings with 5 Ks. Sure, he still flirted with disaster a bit (WP, 2 walks), but he got the Win in Carolina’s 3-2 victory.

7th round pick CF Josiah Ragsdale makes his organizational debut and newly-promoted RHP Joshua Quezada (8.15 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, 9.7 K/9 in 35.1 IP) makes his full season affiliate debut, as Low-A Carolina tries to sweep today’s doubleheader at Fayetteville.

Tyler Black has looked rough tonight. For a guy who is supposed to have an elite eye and great hit tool, he just is going down way too easily most AB.

1st AB - 6 pitch strikeout with 3 whiffs

2nd AB - 4 pitch weakly hit GIDP with 3 pitches catching a huge amount of the plate

3rd AB - 3 pitch strikeout with 3 whiffs, strike 3 was chasing a changeup in the dirt.

More and more he's looking like a change of scenery candidate in the offseason

Kuehner with a mistake pitch to Seymour. 93mph sinker right down the middle in a 3-2 count. Still a heck of a AAA debut.

5.1 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 4 SO and 19 whiffs

Selflessly, I want all 3 of Made/Pena/Fischer to crush it the rest of the year and be in AA next year to start.

Selfishly, living 9 minutes from the TRats stadium I only have 4 potential home games the rest of the year with the 3 of them together... which is a real bummer.

Either way, the TRats have been a hard sell this year thus far so getting some star power here is nice. Bad luck for the local stadium team we will only have them for so few games.

I could easily see Pratt repeating AA.  No need to push him to AAA -  Zamora (SS), Murray (2B), Wilken (3B/1B), and Adams(1B/3B) can man the infield in AAA (I prefer Black moves to OF, but could play 1B).  I doubt that they're ready to give up on EBJ - hard to believe he was only drafted three years ago - so Pratt (SS), EBJ (2B), Boeve (3B), and Burke (1B) can man the infield in AA.

My money would be on Made/Pena/Fischer playing A+ next year, or at least the first half of 2026.

AAA: Wilken, Zamora, Murray, Adams
AA: Boeve, Pratt, EBJ, Burke
A+: Pena, Made, Fischer, Bitonti

This system is stacked.  Sounds like Made & Pena still have some things to work on from what @Joseph Zarr reports, probably best to do that in A+.

Edit: Ack!  Forgot about Adams

Yeah this is just very contrary to how the Brewers have operated the last few years. Brewers are very aggressive with their start of season assignments.

AAA - Pratt (SS), Wilken (3B), Adams (1B)

AA - Fischer (3B), Made (SS), Pena (2B), Burke (1B)

A+ - Di Turi (SS), Adamczewski (2B), Bitonti (1B)

For all we know Made and Pena have merchandise deals, and since they don't speak English they don't want to even attempt to say no.

This is mostly true, but typically it has been with college prospects and it has had mixed results.  Worked with Chourio, but he was already moved to the OF and OF isn't as much of a learning curve as IF, and they did it with Quero but he was ready defensively.  But it didn't work with EBJ, took a year and a half for Wilken, hasn't worked so far w/Boeve, and they didn't do it with Burke, Black, or Adams.  Turang played 82 games at A+ before moving up to AA and Mitchell started in A+ and raked there for over a month before moving him up to AA.

The common thread seems to be if they are ready defensively.

I think you're missing some names and ignoring some context.

Many on this board said Pratt and Lara would start at A+ this year. Both were aggressively started at AA.

Wilken has some pretty major injury context to his struggles in AA last year. Boeve was great in 2024 before he had offeason shoulder surgery.

Adams has been promoted aggressively to start every season. Each year he has gone up a new level.

EBJ wasn't aggressively promoted. He was a college guy who basically spent an entire (injury riddled) season at A+ then went to AA in the last week of the season.

We have a lot of players come through Appleton with language barriers, never seems to stop any of them from fan interaction when it comes to signing autos.  They knew what the fans wanted, and yelling their names in any language should be the same.  They simply didn't want to lower themselves to having to sign anything for the people who love them.

Like I said, it was pretty disappointing seeing this behavior from such young guys.  Just didn't sit well.

Lara played a full season at A+, as did Adams.  I don't consider moving up one level to be "aggressively started".

Your definition may differ from mine.

In Zebulon... Peña signed for me before a game earlier in June. Made just ignored me. I got a selfie with Made after a game in April though. I asked nicely every time. Lucky I got the selfie tho

I mean my goodness, this is a ridiculous amount of entitlement because players didn't sign autographs.

Edit: I just want to clarify that it’s fine to be disappointed they didn’t sign autographs but the over the top character assassination trying to label them as selfish or disrespectful is just extremely entitled. The players are not required to sign autographs before the games and it’s been two games.

Burke's start in AA has been strange in the sense that he's doing basically everything he wasn't doing in A+ in terms of power output. Love to see it but very confused about it. He just roped a 107 EV double to right center that one hopped off the wall.
