Q was a huge pick up and one i hope Brewers learn from. Nothing spectacular but for the price steady and helpful. This is how good teams get better. I hope they keep spending money on the margins to fill in the cracks.

This umpire is doing a good job so far.

There’s plenty of game left to mess that up, of course. I just figured I’d say it while it’s true because it’s usually out the window by the 2nd inning.

It's hard to believe Laz Diaz is the crew chief. Glad he wasn't behind the plate this weekend.

These guys gotta make Abbott work a little harder than this. He’s going to go 8 today if this keeps up.

Would normally agree but that was a 80 mph hanger that he just missed

Yeah I have no problem going after the first pitch if it’s the right one, just gotta make it count.

Haven’t watched ESPN much lately, does the sports media still portray Elly De La Cruz as the greatest player in MLB history?

Don't get me wrong, he’s very good, but you’d think he was Derek Jeter.

This has got that typical 2025 Brewers feel.  Battle the counts, drive the SP pitches up, take advantage of the bullpen.

Good thing Yeli carried the offense in the opener, because he is 0 for 6 with 4 K’s since then.

So far so good from Quintana.  Starting to gain hope that we might be able to get through today with just Quintana and Anderson.  If we have Myers available tomorrow as a long man out of the pen that would be a huge boost towards handling the double header.
