If a pitcher leaves with an inherited runner on at 1st (in this case, Ashby), and is relieved, and the next batter reaches on a fielders choice, with the inherited runner retired, if the runner who reached on the FC ended up scoring, which pitcher would that run be charged to?

Better have a 1-2-3 ninth.

I don’t want to see Perdomo, Marte, and Carroll.

Brewers had 6 hits in a row and then only 3 others.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I'm not sure why but doesn't Yoho who at least has some closing experience make more sense that McGee who they don't trust in blowout situations?

McGee is up to eat innings not close games and Yoho would be nowhere near leverage innings in MLB.

It might be Yoho’s 8.22 ERA that gives them pause on that. Or his near 11 walks/9. Or that WHIP north of 2. I dont know, there are a lot of things to pick from.

Yoho is pretty far down on the preferred closer list for me until he can start building some successes here in lower leverage situations first.

Eat innings? Yoho can do that. He has experience with pitching when games are tight so he makes more sense when a bullpen is short handed imo.

Nobody is calling on him to close but pitch a 7th inning with a lead? You trusting him or McGee?

Not sure what Perkins is looking for in that at bat.

You could say that about 90% of his ABs the last few weeks. Tonight overall was actually a step back in the right direction.

Yoho has been downright frightening at the big league level. I don't want him eating anything but at the buffet.

I'd take McGee over Yoho right now

Horse apiece. Neither right now, if I’m being honest.

DURBIN TIME!

My best friend in who lived across the street from me moved away and a bunch of people moved in.

3 of them wore Durbins.

Let's get 3 quick outs !!

Can Yoho really eat innings? He's gone 2 innings just 3 times this year. McGee is a former starter and has gone 2 innings 11 times this year.
