With nearly a full week from the end of the regular season until the start of the playoffs, I don't think how we're playing right now matters at all. That said, it's a fact that we're not playing well.

That's probably true, particularly for the staff and the position players defensively.  I do think that it's a little less likely that the bats will come alive during several days of down time.

If you want home field over the Phillies, then I think it matters a little bit.  Still need to get one more because I don't think the Phillies are losing this weekend.

I don’t understand the lineup

I don’t like Yelich leading off

I’m concerned with how poorly we are playing as the season comes to a close

I’m not sure you can flip a switch & suddenly be hot again

It would seem that the team would like to win & get the #1 NL Seed as well as the all-time wins record for a season

The last five weeks feel like the April & early May version of the Brewers

Yeah who's hitting the ball well right now?  I honestly can't think of anybody.  Bauers had a nice run for a bit but has cooled off.  We're just not very good right now and it's painful to watch.

Bauers was 17 of 41 in September before not starting the last four games.. Then he had three at bats in the last four games before tonight. That’s the only reason he has “cooled down.”

This has been some mediocre baseball in September. Hoping they didn’t hit their peak in August and flame out in the divisional round.

Most won't admit it but this seems like the most likely outcome at this point.

18-19 since win #14 in a row. It's not just a rough patch. You wonder where this team would be if not for an astronomically unlikely tear for two months.

Upside is there's really no one in the NL that's really hot right now.  Lot of 4-6, 5-5, 6-4 in the last 10 up and down the league.
