Offence is due to put up a 10 spot one of these days.

The way this offense is going right now, that day might not come until sometime in 2026.

I had to type “Brewers Chatroom” into Google because their media is so silent on this absolute implosion in September. Do they need to be underdogs?  Are they not gelling now that they have more position players than positions? A bye week only means facing someone hot when you’re cold and in a slump.

Meh, they have two more chances to wrap up the best record in MLB.

With Abbott going tomorrow, and Gasser pitching (what will he have, 4 innings max) I'm not holding my breath.

Freddy will pitch a some innings on Sunday apparently?

We could easily piss this away.  Hopefully, they find a way to win tomorrow and put us out of our misery.

I’m much more worried about the bats. For Ortiz in the playoffs would you gamble maybe one great defensive play for 4-5 nearly guaranteed outs? Murph needs to prioritize not compromise from here on out.

Hard to stay hungry, hard to stay hungry, hard to stay hungry...

His exchange with his son there was cringeworthy.

Geez.

The more you see of the guy the interviews the pancakes the fake letters the kids it's almost like he is into the celebrity of this job and is losing the baseball of it. Hard to blame a nondescript bench coach turning into the man this late in life but I hardly ever hear him just talk ball. I'm not a fan at all. This postseason is absolutely huge for him. No excuses. None

Yes, I genuinely think this team’s identity is underdog. They will be perceived as underdogs again during the NLDS, no matter who they face.

Not going to happen against the reds pitching staff.

Brewers will be in big trouble then in the playoffs if that is true. Even though we will be facing there best starting pitcher Abbott tonight and we have Gasser pitching. Sure would like a little momentum entering the playoffs.

Ortiz could go Arcia+ in the playoffs, but that will not matter if Chourio, Frelick, Contreras, Monasterio, Durbin, Collins and a host of others are as cold as ice. On top of that Murphy will need to put together a pitching staff with baling wire because of injuries and exhaustion. I’m not saying they can’t win, however making it and winning a WS looks pretty bleak right now. Hope they can do it.

Peralta and Priester seem fine. Ashby, Hall, Myers, Patrick, Henderson and Miz could all get nine outs.

Uribe and Koenig seem as good as ever.

Can the offense flip a switch? I am optimistic.

It must be an ounce difficult to ‘play to win’ without having having Sal Frelick run into a wall on Game 160 like last year.

Bauers and no Collins again.

Do we plan to go into the playoffs with Bauers as our starting LF.

At this point, Collins needs to start getting regular at bats again, but I'm not sure Murphy agrees.

Oh, and while we are at it, let's bench  Durbin too.

dude, durbin has been playing literally every game for a while now. It isn't the end of the world to give him a day.

A thought while thinking about Cleveland's surge. Are both teams getting the Uecker benefit? Worst to First after 2 of your better players get sidelined due to an investigation certainly could be the plot to Major League 4.

Wow, I totally forgot about those suspensions. That's even that much more impressive what Cleveland has been doing during this time frame!

How’s Bauers working out as your everyday LFer, Murph?

pretty sure he isn't the 'every day' left fielder, especially if there's a lefty starting.

Can we get a member of the media to ask what's up with Collins? Why is Durbin out tonight? Why is your best power threat leading off? Why are you playing station to station ball the past month? I keep hearing how defense keeps Joey in the lineup but Bauers in left is necessary? I mean we need answers and no kids in the media room please.

is it really that upsetting that Durbin is out?

He hasn't had a day off in forever excluding team off days, and it's not like he's killing it at the plate lately.
