It’s the getting worse on offense that’s the fireable offense for both Gute and LaFleur.

Don't worry. Gute will make sure we are the youngest team in the NFL again next year and never take the training wheels off this team so they can make the same young guy mistakes they always do.

And then have the same excuses we have every year. “Hey, we’re the youngest team in the NFL! Whaddya expect?’”

Can't overstate how much I want LaFleur gone.

Even in a scenario in which either choice has a less than 1% chance of success, he still plays for a tie with a field goal that has virtually no chance of happening rather than just  throwing up a doable Hail Mary from 50.

He is not average. He is one of the worst 5 coaches in the league.

2 first round picks and 184M to be the 7 seed… again.

Matt Lafleur is a joke.

7 seed seems pretty optimistic.

Why the heck wouldn’t you throw a Hail Mary that gives you a non zero chance for a win instead of a kick that gives you no chance for a tie.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

MLF saw that had no chance. McManus doesn’t have that leg and the cold. Just idiotic all around. I would take end of the road MM than MLF now.

Yeah I think the playoffs are a huge assumption. We are looking up at Detroit and Chicago, tracking for an ass whooping on Thanksgiving which could end up being the least of our concerns.

I'm out for a bit. I skipped last week assuming we'd win, but this team is not just bad, but bad TV.

Only positive is that I do think Matt is getting canned.

I don’t think there is a Packer fan in the world who wouldn’t rather see the Hail Mary. MLF is worse than brainlock Sherman.

For the first time in my life, I just thought to myself that if we swapped the Bears QB and Bears playcaller in for our QB and playcaller, we probably flip a loss to a win.

The very plausibility of that statement makes me ill.

I could be wrong, but I believe Love's biggest problem is Matt LaFleur. Everyone has seen how good Love is capable of looking for prolonged stretches. This offense is stale, uncreative, and not suited to his strengths.

Without a doubt.

We get a miraculous shot at hail Mary in a game that was lost and we pass, still can’t get over that.

Truly baffling and I am dying to hear his idiotic reasoning. The FG was the equivalent of a kneel down.

I'd be ecstatic if they just hand the keys over to Hafley for the rest of the year and see what you got.

I don't think anything happens mid season but I think he's a sitting duck. The team stinks, it's not a contending team, which was the big push. They will want to see who is available. A guy just being a solid coordinator doesn't make him a good HC. Maybe an actual QB guru, not a guy pretending to be one.

I'm not sure. If they would lose at New York next week and at home the following week to the Vikings that might be enough to force Gutys hand

I don’t think there is much precedent for mid season NFL coach firing on a contending team, Hafley would have to find someone to run the offense and Love is no Rodgers at this point. That said, right now I would welcome his canning.

NFL coach getting fired while sitting in playoff position doesn't really happen. It's too difficult to install a new system and do anything with it midyear. The guys getting canned are always 2-8. It's just not productive to fire him now, unless they end up sitting 5-10-1.
