This Jones character has been brutal. Honestly if he's playing ahead of Perkins that says Perk is dfa bound. Black is missing his major opportunity once again.

HIs splits against leftys are ok. Need to find a left handed hitting SS to platoon for now until the prospects are ready.

So much hate for Ortiz on the forums, but that play proves his worth.  We won the most games in baseball last year with Ortiz playing great defense and hitting.220 most of the year.

You definitely lose a lot there from Ortiz to Hamilton.

That Mitchell K rate is not sustainable.

He can hit… problem is if he doesn’t, it’s probably a K.

That was Ball 2 pretty easily though. Would think if it wasn’t a nobody on and 2 out situation, he would have challenged.

Does it matter if it's a K or ground out?

One thing you can say about Miz, he’s always got a chance to work out of any danger. We need to get some offense going.

Having triple digit gas in your toolbox is a huge advantage.

The downfall of Perk the last 9 months is just odd. He was never a world beater, but his profile of defense, speed, switch hitter who could swing a bit, made him a perfect 4th outfielder. Around last August it seems like a switch flipped beyond just a slump and he’s been unplayable since then.

He hasn’t been the same since personal absence. I wonder if that is still an issue. I think it was death in family.

If we are to score 4 or more runs today, it won’t be with the current lineup. It would require bench players contributing significantly. I’m never a fan of the Sunday lineups, but this one is the worst I’ve seen.

Am I the only one who sees this when Hamilton comes up?

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

I love Danny V, but our hitting coaches aren't finding the magic sauce.

He has absolutely nothing to work with.  Some of the worst Brewers teams put out much better lineups.

On one hand we are a contender on the other hand they have best farm. How is it possible the in between is this bad? It's either great player or prospects.  Everyone else should be working 9-5.
