Bought tickets to a couple of TRats games for the next homestand and continue to think there will be one or more promotions before those games.  Honestly a little surprised that Fischer is still at High A in late April.

Why is that? It hasn't been many games and he isn't lighting up the league like some his teammates

Because he's actually playing pretty well even if his numbers don't match Pena's or Paynes, at 21 he's still young for the level by a year, and frankly he's a better prospect at this point than Boeve and Brown who are getting some of the starts at 3B for Biloxi when Garcia is playing elsewhere.  Honestly don't think there's a benefit to his development in keeping him at High A at this point and a concern for roster crunch at AA at 3B and DH isn't a good reason to keep him there in my opinion.

The strikeout rate is what I am guessing keeps him in Appleton a few more weeks. Now Josh Adamczewski on the other hand, I keep checking for that promotion every day.

Fair.  I'm operating off the assumption that even though I have tickets for the next homestand I've watched my last game with the current High A roster.  We'll see.

Yesterday’s exciting comeback win gave AA Biloxi a 2-0 home series lead over Rocket City and they’ve got RHP Tyson Hardin (6.75 ERA, 1.83 WHIP, 14.3 K/9 in 12.0 IP) ready to toe the slab first tonight. The Shuckers .393 team OBP dwarfs the rest of the league (2nd place: .360), as they rank first in hits (by 5) and walks (by 22).

There is more to Payne than his swing for sure, but I am a skeptic because of it. 

Put Adamczewski's swing on Payne's everything else and you have a superstar imo.

Do we know if that had anything to do with the Tin Caps' manager getting ejected? Or was that due to balls and strikes issues when Fowler was dealing?
