95% of the time a series in May would be "just another series" no matter who you were playing and that still very well end up being true about this one when it's all said and done. But in the current climate and given everything... this had to be so deflating to that entire team and fan base. They will make a run if their pitching can hold up but at this current moment - this is a season shifting moment for both squads.

... Not just because we battered them on the diamond, but there are two wildly different approaches to how to build a ball club and one of those approaches pummeled the other one these last few days. If you are on the Cubs side of this, there has to be a little despair watching Milwaukee build that rotation with that youth at that price and then looking at what you have on your side.
